Job Description

Reporting to the Post Tensioning Project Engineer, the Post Tensioning Field Technician will ensure the quality of work meets specifications and standards set for Interspan Europe Ltd. The suitable applicant will be given structured training and professional development.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote and ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environment procedures
  • Monitor and check the execution of the PT installation performed by subcontractors
  • Review and comment on the subcontractor work in preparation and planning
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the scope of work
  • Ensure compliance with the established installation plan and project specification
  • Ensure that drawings, specifications, and procedures are followed and are up to date.
  • Provide technical support for the post-tensioning team
  • Implement corrective actions when necessary

Skills & Experience

  • A degree/diploma in Mechanical engineering/Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management (essential)
  • 0-5 years of experience in any of the above sectors.
  • Innovative and result orientated
  • Good knowledge of the methods, tools and equipment used on construction sites
  • Willing to learn and hardworking.
  • Be able to communicate well, both orally and in writing
  • Enthusiastic team player
