When a former office building in one of London’s most lavish and expensive locations had to be redeveloped for mixed residential and commercial use, the developer turned to Interspan. The 12,542 square metre, seven-storey structure, due for completion in December 2019, will have 44 apartments with parking, a restaurant and leisure facilities. Interspan’s post-tensioned design enabled maximum storey height as well as minimising the cycle time during construction. The frame required substantial development, which was achieved through collaboration with the contractor, McGee.
