Al Thuraya Astronomy Center

The Al Thuraya Astronomy Center promotes community awareness of Arabic heritage, culture and science. The centre has the biggest telescope in the region for observation of solar activities, housed inside the biggest dome of its kind. A library, an outdoor cafe, and a 100-seat theatre, as well as interactive classrooms and labs, invite visitors to explore the universe by themselves.
